KANE — The Kane Fire Department reported there is a gasoline leak into the borough’s sewer system.
According to the department’s Facebook page, the leak started at the Kwik Fill on Fraley Street. Residents are warned that if they smell gasoline in their houses, they should — without turning on or off any electrical devices — leave and call 911.
Firefighters will inspect the site.
