WILCOX — Remember To Breathe Records in DuBois has been working on a Christmas compilation album with a slew of artists, including many with roots in Elk and McKean counties.
The group began recording in August of this year and wrapped up the final details of the project last week.
The compilation album will feature 15 tracks, 16 artists and eight different instruments. It will include vocal and instrumental versions of Christmas favorites that have been re-imagined and brought to life in new and creative ways.
The album, “Christmas Wonder,” is set to be released worldwide on Black Friday. CDs will be available for sale from each artist who was a part of the project. “Christmas Wonder” will also be available at digital outlets such as iTunes, Deezer, Google Play, Spotify, Rhapsody, Xbox Music, Amazon, Tidal and Pandora.
Recording artists include Tracie Pretak and Bailey Pretak of Wilcox; Sami Ferragine Yurkewicz of Leola and Tom Dellaquila of Johnstown, both formerly of Johnsonburg; Ross Bish, Haley Freeburg and Jewel Santaniello, all of Ridgway; J.J. Bungo of Clearfield and formerly of Ridgway; Kassie Blashaw and Lyndsey Weidow, both of St. Marys; Kylie Geci of Duke Center and formerly of St. Marys; Tony Hanes and Jacob Mosier, both of Kersey; Brianna Blankenship of Kane; Dane Lee of North Canton, Ohio, and formerly of Mount Jewett; and Mikela Murphy of Baltimore, Md.
