A Bradford man was arrested over the weekend on allegations that in the early morning hours on Sunday, he entered an occupied home, scaring a young child.
Chance Michael Gray-Foster, 21, of 4B Kiwanis Court, was arraigned before District Judge William Todd on charges of criminal trespassing, a third-degree felony; criminal mischief, a second-degree misdemeanor; and public drunkenness, a summary charge, court records stated.
According to court records, at 4:32 a.m. Sunday, Bradford City Police were dispatched to a report of a home invasion at 15 Oxford St. Once at the scene, police determined that Gray-Foster kicked in the wooden front door, which was locked with a deadbolt lock, and went inside, frightening a young child.
Gray-Foster told police he had been drinking at a bar near his sister’s residence and had believed — incorrectly — it was his sister’s door he had kicked, court records indicated.
He was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, and he is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
