A last minute application day for children and senior citizens eligible to be recipients of The Era’s Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Bradford Area Public library.
The ELF Fund is a program that provides Christmas gifts for needy children ages 17 and younger and seniors ages 60 and older in the Bradford Area School District.
ELF Fund applicants must provide all the following at the sign-up event: identification for everyone living in the home such as a birth certificate or photo ID, Social Security cards for everyone living in the home and positive proof of income for everyone living in the home.
At sign-up time, applicants will also be asked about their gift wishes and pant/shirt/shoe size.
