Gas prices trend upward across the region

Bradford motorists are paying an average of $2.349 a gallon for unleaded, self-serve gasoline this week, according to the American Automobile Association Fuel Gauge Report.

Elsewhere across the region, the average price for gas stands at $2.384 a gallon. AAA officials said the national average price is $2.179 a gallon. Prices has fallen for eleven of the past twelve days. Overall, gas prices remain lower than last year due to the relatively low price of crude oil with drivers saving an average of 18 cents per gallon compared to a year ago.

The following is a list of the average price of unleaded self-serve gasoline in various areas: $2.386, Altoona; $2.402, Brookville; $2.358, Clarion; $2.299, DuBois; $2.362, Erie; $2.388, Indiana; $2.259, Meadville; $2.384, Pittsburgh; and $2.392, Warren.
