Bradford motorists are paying an average of $2.299 a gallon for unleaded, self-serve gasoline this week, according to the American Automobile Association Fuel Gauge Report.
Elsewhere across the region, the average price for gas stands at $2.339 a gallon, while the national average price is $2.164 a gallon.
AAA officials said after a lengthy slide, gas prices nationwide are rising nearing the end of the summer driving season. The national average price for regular unleaded is $2.16 per gallon, which is four cents more than one week ago, but is still the lowest price for this date since 2004.
