A Freedom, N.Y., man is facing allegations he had indecent contact with a 10-year-old girl in 2002.

Todd William Westfall, 49, of 1812 Edmunds Road, was arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther on charges of endangering the welfare of children, a third-degree felony; corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person less than 13-years-old, both first-degree misdemeanors; and harassment, a summary charge, court records indicate.

Court records said Westfall had contact with the girl between January and July in 2002 in Duke Center, when he would touch her underneath her clothing and kiss her “on the mouth for extended periods of time.”

Westfall was committed to McKean County Jail in Smethport in lieu of $45,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
