SMETHPORT — Burglary allegations from 2015 against an Eldred man have been dropped.

Zachary R. Herbstritt, 20, was scheduled to appear Monday and Tuesday in McKean County Court for a jury trial on the following charges: burglary, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, court records state.

However, according to court records, the Commonwealth filed a motion to nolle pros the charges, which was granted by President Judge John Pavlock on Friday.
