PORT ALLEGANY — Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials are alerting area motorists that Mammoet USA NE Corp. has postponed a second transformer super load in the Port Allegany area.
PennDOT officials said the transport had been scheduled for Thursday using routes 155 and 6 in the Port Allegany area but will now take place at a later date which has yet to be determined.
Updated travel information will be issued by PennDOT once a new transport date has been set.
Roadway message boards will be in place prior to the move to alert drivers of the closures and traffic delays.
