Kenny Rogers to play show at Seneca Allegany Events Center

SALAMANCA, N.Y.  — The Gambler is ready to play one last hand at the Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino.

Resort officials announced Tuesday that Kenny Rogers will bring his final world tour, “The Gambler’s Last Deal,” to the Seneca Allegany Events Center at 7 p.m. May 28.

Rogers announced in September that he will retire after one final world tour. Throughout a career dating back to the 1950s, Rogers has stood as a giant in the recording industry. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, he has garnered fame the world over and enjoyed recording success across musical genres.

His songs are firmly entrenched in music history and etched in the collective memory of audiences around the globe. They include such hits as “Through The Years,” “Ruby,” “Don’t Take Your Love To Town,” “Lucille,” “Coward Of The County,” “Lady,” and, of course, “The Gambler.”

Tickets start at $40 and go on sale at noon Friday. Purchases can be made at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, online atSenecaCasinos.com andTicketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Looking ahead, Seneca Allegany has a stirring entertainment lineup scheduled throughout the Spring and Summer, highlighted with performances by Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates, and John Rzeznik, lead singer of the Buffalo-born Goo Goo Dolls, teaming up for a special show on Saturday, March 26; comedian and impressionist extraordinaire Frank Caliendo on Saturday, April 2; legendary bluesman Buddy Guy on Saturday, April 23; and rock guitar legend Steve Miller Band on Saturday, May 7.

When the calendar turns to June, the attention moves outside, as country music legend Travis Tritt performs an outdoor show on Friday, June 3. The following night, rock royalty comes to Salamanca, when Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band will perform a special outdoor show on Saturday, June 4.
