SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The Allegany State Park naturalist staff will lead a winter hike — with or without snow — starting at 11 a.m. Feb. 20 at the Summit area warming hut.
Organizers said the hike will last about 1 ½ hours. The hike will be in the Summit area and explore the park’s newest trail, Bear Paw.
Participants are asked to bring snowshoes, trekking poles and wear a good pair of winter hiking boots. A snack can be brought to enjoy in the warming hut after the hike.
There is no charge to attend.
