Elaine Ashley Housler, daughter of Stephen and Denise Housler of Bradford, and Daniel Lee Patton, son of Robert and Susan Patton of Lucinda, were united in marriage Sept. 26 in a double-ring ceremony at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Ray Gramata officiating.
Musician John Kearns played, and Marissa Buchheit sang for the ceremony.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory vintage lace gown that featured a strapless, sweetheart neckline trimmed with Swarovski crystals and beads. It was a dual-layer lace consisting of Chantilly underlay sprinkled with tiny crystals and beads with satin-covered buttons and a semi-cathedral length train. Adorning her head was an ivory lace headpiece of crystals and beads attached to a fingertip veil. She carried an ivory-wrapped satin bouquet of cream and yellow roses, green hydrangeas and freesia.
Kailey Fesenmyer of Lancaster served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Randolph of State College and Lauren Luciano of Franklin, cousins of the bride Katelyn Morris of Pittsburgh and Caroline Morris of Philadelphia, and sisters of the groom Jen Pappas of Lucinda and Amy Smith of Bethel Park.
Each of the bride’s attendants wore an olive green floor-length dress of chiffon featuring a v-back with a cascading ruffle. Each carried a yellow-wrapped bouquet of yellow and cream roses.
Niece of the groom Samantha Patton of Clarion was the flower girl. She wore a headpiece of yellow sweetheart roses and yellow satin ribbon. Nephews of the groom Jack and Ryan Pappas of Lucinda were the ringbearers.
Brother-in-law of the groom Chris Pappas of Lucinda served as best man. Ushers were Zack Mechling and Nicholas Keener, both of Clarion; Joel Roth of Atlanta; Michael Corbett of Vermont; brother-in-law of the groom Greg Smith of Bethel Park; brothers of the bride Sean Housler of State College and Greggory Housler of Frederick, Md.; and brothers of the groom Robert Patton of York Springs and Michael Patton of Clarion.
A reception was held at the Pennhills Country Club with music by DJ Xcite Sound.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Akumal, Mexico.
They reside in Leeper.
The bride, a 2009 graduate of Bradford Area High School, graduated from Clarion University with a degree in early childhood education/special education. She is a third grade teacher in the North Clarion School District.
The groom, also a graduate of Clarion University, is an accountant for Patton Professionals.
A shower, hosted by the bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom, was held at the Timberwolf Lodge Clarion. The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at Kabob’s at the Option House.
