Pizza Hut and ARG collected wins Sunday in the Bradford Midget Football League Pony Division openers.
Pizza Hut beat Fairway Ford 8-6. John Komidar returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter for Pizza Hut. Komidar also caught a 25-yard pass from Zach Hatch.
Derek Frair completed a nine-yard pass to Caden Fox and recovered a fumble. Lucas Laktash had a 25-yard run. Jacob McCaffery recovered a fumble.
For Fairway Ford, Micheal Gow recovered a fumble. Alex Szoke ran for 30 yards and scored on a 17-yard run.
ARG topped Race Buick 19-8 as Dalton Dixon scored on a pair of one-yard runs. Dixon also kicked an extra point. Brett Thompson scored on an eight-yard run for ARG.
Tre Ryan threw a touchdown pass to Damon Griffin for Race. Ryan teamed with Donovan Smith on a 25-yard reception.
Levi Reed recovered a fumble.
In Peewee action, KOA beat Sundahl 36-12.
Leo Paterniti scored on runs of 60, 67 and 27 yards for KOA. Owen Copeland scored on a nine-yard run and Hayden Campbell recovered a fumble for KOA.
For Sundahl, Sheldon Bell scored on 60- and eight-yard runs and had a run of 15 yards.
Bradford Laundry beat Zippo 28-6 with Chase Wineberg scoring on runs of eight and 20 yards. In addition, Wineberg returned an interception 39 yards for a score. Matthew Perry raced in from 60 yards out and Elijah Canfield had a 25-yard run.
Logan Walker and Jacob Sharp recovered fumbles for the Machines.
Lance Myers scored Zippo’s only touchdown on an eight-yard sprint.
