Bears DL Ratliff suspended 3 games for substance-abuse issue

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The NFL suspended Chicago defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff without pay for the first three games of the season Monday, saying he violated its substance-abuse policy.
