PORT ALLEGANY — Jill Stuckey is seeking the Republican nomination in the May 19 primary election to fill the position of Port Allegany Borough tax collector.

She is a Port Allegany native working and raising her family in the borough.

Stuckey has been employed with the Port Allegany School District for more than 13 years, serving 10 of those years as the payroll clerk.

“I have been interested in the tax collector position for years,” Stuckey said. “Finally the opportunity fits my lifestyle. The position is currently filled with an appointment, and I am excited to give the voters a choice. I would be grateful to serve my hometown as tax collector.”
