Gas prices climb across region

PITTSBURGH — Bradford motorists are paying an average of $2.647 a gallon for unleaded, self-serve gasoline this week, according to the American Automobile Association’s Fuel Gauge Report.

Elsewhere across the region, the average price for gas stands at $2.664 a gallon, up nearly 16 cents this week, according to AAA officials. Meanwhile, the national average price of regular unleaded gasoline fell for the first time since increasing for 40 consecutive days, which was the longest streak of daily price increases since 2011.

The following is a list of the average price of unleaded self-serve gasoline in various areas: $2.562, Altoona; $2.660, Brookville; $2.689, Clarion; $2.699, DuBois; $2.696, Erie; $2.696, Indiana; $2.688, Kittanning; $2.689, Meadville; $2.653, Pittsburgh; and $2.698, Warren.
