ST. MARYS — Paulette Schreiber and her women’s health office at Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys have both been recognized with national Excellence through Insightawards from HealthStream Inc. Officials said the awards honor their commitment to patient satisfaction.
To qualify, a medical practice must score higher than 75 percent of HealthStream’s clients. A minimum of 100 patients at each practice are surveyed.
“I feel honored to receive both awards, my personal award and the award for our office,” said Schreiber. “They mean so much to me, especially because our scores for the awards come from our patients. They are the reason that we strive for excellence. They are the reason that we try to make a difference in women’s lives, one woman at a time. I couldn’t have received the office award without the help of an excellent staff.”
HealthStream is a Nashville-based company that is contracted by thousands of health care facilities across the country to help with workforce training and development.
