DuBOIS — University Orthopedics Center of State College and Penn Highlands Healthcare, headquartered in DuBois, announced Friday that they have signed an agreement as part of a restructuring plan for the health system’s orthopedic surgery service line.
The plan includes bringing University Orthopedics surgeons to the system’s DuBois facility. Orthopedic medical and surgical services will continue to be performed at Penn Highlands Clearfield by Dr. Mark Nartatez and Dr. Rodolfo Polintan and at Penn Highlands Elk by Dr. Ted Eshbach and Dr. Naveen Singanamala.
According to officials from both organizations, the services will begin this fall and exact start dates and additional details are expected to be announced at a later date.
