WARREN — Northwest Bancshares, Inc. and Northwest Savings Bank have announced the promotion of William W. Harvey Jr. to the position of Senior Executive Vice President while continuing to serve as Chief Financial Officer. 

In this capacity, Harvey will direct one of the company’s three major operating divisions with responsibility for the technology, operations, financial and support functions.

Harvey is the son of Ann Harvey and the late William Harvey Sr. of Kersey and he currently resides in Russell with his wife Amy, an elementary school teacher, and sons Ben and Jake.
