SHEFFIELD — Ridgway rolled to a 48-0 season-opening victory over Sheffield on Saturday.
J.T. Cerroni and Cole Myers each surpassed 100 rushing yards for the Elkers.
The Elkers amassed 408 yards rushing and 470 total yards.
Ben MacDonald scored a pair of TDs on runs of one and 40 yards. In addition, MacDonald threw a 10-yard scoring strike to Cody Delhunty.
Cerroni added a two-yard scoring run, Luke Pierce a five-yard run, Myers a three-yard run and Cordell Curtis a 20-yard run.
Myers finished with 150 yards on the ground, while Cerroni had 114 yards.
Sheffield was 11-for-33 for 201 yards passing.
