EMPORIUM — Aziz Yousif of Bradford was the overall winner of the ninth annual David Hutton Memorial 5K Run on Saturday.
Yousif, a two-time champion, ran the 3.1-mile course in 18:04.
Tori Dippold from St. Marys was the first female finisher (18:48, age group record, 2nd all-time).
There were a total of 81 runners (44 males, 37 females).
Anne Sayre of Bethel Park was the recipient of the “Citius, Altius, Fortius” award for most improved time from the previous year with an improvement of four minutes, three seconds.
This year’s scholarship recipient was Gabriella Benninger from Ridgway.
Male divisional winners were Matthew Dippold (14-and-under), Andrew Smith (15-19), Kyle Kinkead (20-29), Jeff Hutton (30-39), Sean Conklin (40-49, 18:23, age group record), Myron Zwally (50-59) and Tom Gooch (60-69, 20:21, age group record).
Female divisional winners were Abby Bonfardin (14-and-under), Michelle Bauer (15-19), Hilary Cooney (20-29), Kristen Eckert (30-39), Daphne McNamara (40-49), Karen Kinkead (50-59, 23:01, age group record) and Nancy McBreen (60-plus).
