Kinzua Outdoors will be holding their 10th annual “Take a Vet” Fishing event Saturday.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. at Willow Bay.
The cost is $10 per person.
You may have as many anglers in the boat as you like.
Hours are 8 a.m.-2 p.m. with weigh-ins being held at the Corydon Hotel.
Dinner and prizes are included.
On Sunday, Kinzua Outdoors will be running their 10th annual “Kids Fishing Tournament.”
Registration starts at 7 a.m. at Willow Bay, but you may register all day long at 3389 West Washington St. or by calling 362-1423.
Kids are allowed to fish 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
All public waters flowing into the Kinzua Reservoir are open for the event including Marilla Reservoir, Quaker Lake, Willow Creek, Sugar Run.
Wolf Run Marina and Onoville Marina are off limits.
Weigh-ins and festivities will take place at the Willows Restaurant starting at 1:30 p.m.
Spectators are encouraged to bring a folding chair to sit in.
Car pooling is also encouraged.
Kinzua Outdoors is expecting 1,000 people in attendance with 200 kids participating. There will be prizes for all kids in the event.
Individuals can bring a dish for the buffet or donate to the event.
