SMETHPORT — A Bradford man entered guilty pleas Thursday in McKean County Court to drug charges stemming from three separate cases.
Justin M. Jones, 35, pleaded guilty in one case to possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, in a second to conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and in the third to possession of a controlled substance. On April 9 and 16 in 2013, he conspired with his wife, Jessie Jones, to deliver Suboxone, according to Assistant District Attorney Kristjan Whiteway. He will be sentenced May 22.
Kevin A. Armstrong, 28, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance stemming from two separate cases. Whiteway said that on April 6 and 7 in 2013, Armstrong delivered cocaine. He will be sentenced June 5.
Jeremy R. Bowen, 36, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance stemming from two separate cases. On June 5 and May 14 in 2013, Bowen delivered Suboxone, Whiteway said.
He will be sentenced June 5.
Franklin N. Howard, 34, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. On Nov. 5, 2013, Howard delivered a fentanyl patch, Whiteway said. He will be sentenced July 3.
Robert P. Shaffer, 30, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges in two separate cases. He’s charged in one case with theft by unlawful taking and a summary charge, and he’s charged in the second with false identification to a law enforcement official and a summary charge. Whiteway said that on July 11, 2012, Shaffer took a vehicle valued at $3,000 from Phillip’s Auto Depot, then on Nov. 29, 2013, he gave a false name and date of birth to a police officer. He will be sentenced June 5.
Jeffery A. Havers, 37, of Allegany, N.Y., pleaded guilty to charges stemming from two separate cases. He pleaded guilty in one case to a charge of stalking and in the second case to charges of harassment and calling 911 for a purpose other than an emergency. According to Whiteway, between 12:09 and 1:10 a.m. Oct. 19, 2013, Havers repeatedly called the victim’s grandmother in a case in which he was convicted. Then, between Nov. 10 and Dec. 4 in 2013, Havers repeatedly called the McKean County 911 Center using obscene language. He will be sentenced June 5.
Phillip M. Friend, 22, of Roulette, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft of leased property. According to Whiteway, on May 11, 2012, Friend leased a tablet computer worth $924.63 from Rent-A-Center and defaulted on payment. He will be sentenced May 22.
Tyler L. Prescott, 21, of Eldred, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Whiteway, on March 22, Prescott pushed his grandfather, then, while the two were wrestling, swung his grandfather to the couch, causing broken ribs. He will be sentenced May 22.
Todd E. Burton, 31, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On Dec. 30, 2013, Burton hurt two relatives by choking one and head-butting the other, Whiteway indicated. He will be sentenced June 5.
Ethan K. Sprague, 28, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking. On Nov. 8, 2013, Sprague took a cell phone valued at $50, according to Whiteway. He will be sentenced May 22.
Ryan C. Forsythe, 32, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges in two separate cases. In one case he’s charged with simple assault, and in the second he’s charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance. On Nov. 8, 2013, Forsythe engaged in a mutual fight with his wife. He will be sentenced June 5.
Terri J. Hanold, 37, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges stemming from two separate cases. She’s charged in one case with disorderly conduct and in the second with driving under the influence of alcohol. She will be sentenced June 5.
Breanna N. Miller, 21, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of terroristic threats. On June 20, 2013, she threatened an employee of the Bradford City Parks Department, said Whiteway. She will be sentenced May 22.
Lance A. Liskey, 28, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substances — morphine and clonazepam. He will be sentenced July 3.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for driving under the influence of alcohol: Carol J. Crockett, 51, of Port Allegany; Justin A. Lindquist, 25, of Kane; Francis M. Callahan, 25, of Eldred; Mark J. Valenti, 27, of Bradford; and Ronald L. Haight Jr., 41, of Bradford.
