When the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi (Libya) came under attack in September, 2012, four Americans died, including two ex-Navy SEALs. Prior to the attack, someone at the embassy said they needed more security at that location but, apparently, some high-ranking off the chain-of-command decided not to expedite that request and more security personnel never arrived or got there too late.
Sometime later, the survivors of the attack in Benghazi said they weren’t allowed to talk (to the news reporters) about what happened. Who gave that order, the man in the White House?
Hillary Clinton couldn’t stand the heat when she got grilled on Capitol Hill concerning Benghazi and then she decided to give up her wonderful job as secretary of state. Enter John Kerry, so Clinton can make a run for the White House in 2016.
We have had too many things covered up in this country, while the feds continue to keep lying to us and are spying on us.
How many Americans does it take to operate an average embassy in countries around the world that hate us and our flag? Is it really necessary to have all these ambassadors appointed to these jobs?
I was an ambassador, too, when the Air Force provided me with free transportation to South Vietnam in April ’68. Later, I was an ambassador for six days in Sydney, Australia, in January ’69. They called it “R and R” (rest and relaxation) but for me it was “R and C” (Rum and Coke).
