COUDERSPORT — Coudersport-based state police investigated the accidental death of a Columbia, Pa., man in Hector Township.
According to police, a utility task vehicle driven by Aldus Baum, 53, of 726 Kanes Hill Road, was traveling on private property along Bailey Hill Road, when the vehicle rolled over him as it was trying to turn, killing him. He was not wearing a helmet.
A passing motorist discovered the accident, police reported.
Police said Potter County Deputy Coroner Ken Wingo pronounced Baum deceased.
The Tri-Town Fire Co. and EMS assisted at the scene.
