PITTSBURGH — Bradford motorists are paying an average of $3.753 a gallon for unleaded, self-serve gasoline this week, according to the American Automobile Association’s Fuel Gauge Report.

Elsewhere across the region, the average price for gas stands at $3.77 a gallon, which is six cents more a gallon than last week, AAA officials said. Nationwide, the average price is $3.69 a gallon, which is about three cents more than last week and 14 cents more than a month ago.

AAA officials said the national average is up nearly 19 cents compared to the same date last year. Despite the differential, Tuesday’s price is lower than the same date in both 2011 and 2012. The price remains in line with AAA’s projection for spring gas prices which expected a peak between $3.55 and $3.75.
