I see our current administration again has placed up a blockade against this pipe line (Keystone Pipeline ) that should have been built six years ago to increase our job market and funds for our government. If the government doesn’t want it under ground, why not built it as the Alaskan pipeline, above ground. I am quite sure this would not only decrease expenses of building but would also create a way for closer inspection of the line. Monitors could be built in place as the Alaskan line to keep the oil flowing.
The pipeline in Alaska has not harmed anything or anyone so far. It was built in a land than most people said was impossible to do without ruining the landscape and beauty.
My wife and daughter took a land trip to Alaska last year. They rented a car and drove along the pipeline. They say it is a thing of beauty to see it in this wilderness. It has no effect on the wildlife and in some cases helps them. It provides thousands of jobs and income .
People treat it with respect as they know it is a lifeline to their way of life. They can see the line daily for any problems should they arise. They can build it high enough over your interstates so it does not impede travel. In the process it can connect to all underground lines it passes.
I know the first thing people will say this is ideal for an attack against the line. Same thing applies to underground lines and power lines. I know we will have people against this, but we must establish our nation as the number one oil producer in the world to pay off our national debt given to us by our current administration.
The laws up there protect the line instead of laws we have here that let illegal aliens roam the streets and draw on our monetary systems in the land of the free.
As I now say free monies, free health care free I-phones and the freedom if you are in the groove to harass Christians and other religions. You can lie freely to Congress and nothing is done to correct it. Ours has become the biggest nanny country in the world . Most of the thanks goes to President Obama and the DOJ, State Department, HHSC, DEP, IRS, DEA, < NSA and yes, Congress itself..
