Two benefits have been planned in Bradford to raise money for a baby who has had emergency brain surgery for a recent trauma.
The fundraisers will help Sophea Franco, the young daughter of Murrey Franco and Kelsea Kagarise of Limestone, N.Y.
First, starting at 4 p.m. April 19, there will be a rigatoni dinner at the VFW Post #212 on Barbour Street in Bradford. Then, from 2 to 5 p.m. May 10, an event will be held at Byllye Lanes bowling center at 290 Seaward Ave. For a $20 donation, attendees will be able to play three games and hear a live performance by area band Counterfeit. The event also includes giveaways.
Donations can be made through Northwest Savings Bank at 85 W. Washington St. in Bradford. Checks should be written out to Julie Brooks, trustee of Sophea Franco.
