Snowman misnomer

I am writing to comment on a picture The Bradford Era published in its April 1, 2014 edition.  On page 7, there is a photo which discusses a “snowman.”

Well, I would imagine that there are all too many people in the reading area who prefer that you would have used the term “snowperson” or “snow individual” or . . .  Anyway, you get the idea.

Realizing that the ‘snowperson’ is made of snow and is therefore cold, I would really like to heat things up in the Bradford area  —  especially after this very cold winter —  by suggesting that we call the item a “snowwoman” (for obvious reasons)!

I’m hoping the fact that it is presently April Fool’s Day gives me some license to write this.

Let’s hear it for winter’s demise.
