Our dog Mandy got loose on Friday night, March 7, around 9 p.m., and ran into the woods behind Colonial Heights where we live.

We would first like to thank the lady who lives on Williams Street in town who was thoughtful enough to call the SPCA at midnight and report a dog walking down her street.

Secondly, we are most grateful to the lady at the SPCA who was on call that night and went immediately to Williams Street and picked up Mandy and took her to the shelter where we picked her up the next morning.

We can’t thank you enough that Mandy is back home again, and life is good again. God bless all of you at the SPCA and the thoughtful lady from Williams Street. Please support your local SPCA.
