SMETHPORT — The McKean County 4-H Livestock clubs will hold a countywide meeting at the Hamlin Memorial Library conference room in Smethport from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The program will include good production practices and stations featuring proper animal feeding and infectious diseases. All 4-H youth with an animal science project are required to take good production practices training and are welcome to attend the meeting. Members are encouraged to notify the office by Friday if they are planning to attend, as refreshments will be provided.

McKean 4-H clubs are part of Penn State Extension’s youth development programming. Traditional clubs are open to youth ages 8-19. Screened adult volunteers are also needed to contribute their experience, talent and time through club participation and leadership.
