SMETHPORT — Criminal cases for two men charged with arsons in Bradford have been continued until next week in McKean County Central Court.
Harvey N. Rose, 21, of Brennan Street, and Jeremiah B. Smith, 25, of East Main Street, were both charged for an arson at 338 E. Main St. on Jan. 11. Rose is charged in three other arsons as well — 10 Congress Place, 8 Thompson Ave. and 125 W. Washington St., the first two of which happened in December of 2011, and the third happened Jan. 8.
Rose remains incarcerated on $400,000 bail; Smith remains incarcerated on $250,000 bail.
Smith faces 14 felonies, including arson, conspiracy to commit arson and reckless burning or exploding, and two misdemeanors.
Rose is facing 31 felony charges, including arson, burglary and conspiracy to commit arson; and eight misdemeanor charges, including recklessly endangering another person.
Both are scheduled to appear in McKean County Central Court on March 6.
