HAPPY SPRING: If the weather forecasters were correct, you might have worn your boots to pick up the paper this morning, the first “official” day of spring.
You also might be cursing Punxsutawney Phil under your breath as it produces clouds of fog in front of your face.
And you might remember ruefully that Punxsutawney Phil proclaimed, by not seeing his shadow on Feb. 2, that spring was “just around the corner.”
Must have been a long block.
Such first days of spring are not unheard of in Bradford, of course.
