MIKE’S BACK: We’re happy to report that Mike Ross is back at work in his barber shop in the Seneca Building after being out sick for about a month. We suspect that the people who are forced to look at us will be relieved too, once Mike works through a considerable backlog.

At age 85, and with 36 years at this current shop, Mike is as close to a downtown institution as it gets. But those three-plus decades are only about half of his tenure. He worked at other locations for 36 years before he moved to the Seneca Building.
