MEMOIR: Alene “Lee” Sage of Bradford loaned us a book written by her late sister-in-law, Esther Robbins Hutton. Titled “Sojourn: A Family Saga,” it introduces us to Esther’s early childhood of privilege in China, details her years in a World War II Japanese prison camp, and briefly describes her life afterward in the United States and Canada.
