NEILLY’S CAVE: “Kids from all over Bradford visited Neilly’s Cave. It was not just a 3rd Ward natural wonder. When it ceased to lose its popularity is hard to say, but I cannot recall visiting the big cavern after 1938, and I have talked with few who can add any more to the yarns that have often been spun about the rock strewn ‘hell’s half acre’ where three generations of Bradford kids played.”
