FOR THE BIRDS: The “advance scouts” have arrived.

Ralph and Judy Rose of Derrick City tell us two turkey buzzards arrived at their home particularly early this year — at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 18. “Bruce Perry says they are advance scouts,” Ralph says.
