BUSH HILL: “They did not have running water, electricity, central heating or a telephone. Their home was not weather tight. The outhouse was located a distance from the house. Electronic conveniences like cell phones and computers were not available. These farm homes did not have dish washers, washing machines and dryers. Water was carried from the hillside spring and heated on the wood fired kitchen stove.”
