ARTHUR YOUNG: “For the past 10 years the Sons of the American
Legion Post 138 in Smethport have been taking care of the Goodwin
Cemetery in Farmers Valley. I was very pleased to read the Round
the Square article concerning Arthur Young who is buried there. The
Sons started caring for the Goodwin Cemetery mainly because of the
veterans buried there which were mostly in the Civil War. Everyone
buried there died before 1900.”
