IT’S TODAY: Hunters will be taking to the field today to bag a
deer. When this was being written on Wednesday, a check with the
Pennsylvania Game Commission website gave a countdown to deer
season, showing the days, hours, minute and seconds. As always, we
pull for the deer (but never refuse venison sausage).
