SALAMANCA, N.Y. — With nothing but the force of gravity to propel
them, two girls with local ties are ready to represent the region
at the All-American Soap Box Derby World Championships in Ohio this
weekend.
Kaitlynn Strang, 16, of Salamanca, N.Y., and Taylar Mager, 11, of
Bradford, Pa., and granddaughter of Little Valley, N.Y., residents
Paul and Sue Mager, have spent the last several days in Akron,
Ohio, for a week of festivities which concludes with a full day of
racing this Saturday.
