2nd KEEPER: We had completely forgotten a middle chapter in the
saga of the lobo wolves in Kane, one which many residents probably
still remember. It was the time after Dr. McCleery died and the
wolves fell to a new caretaker, Jack Lynch.

Gary Hardes called to remind us of a Sports Illustrated article
from about 30 years ago which described how the wolves were
“transferred” from McCleery to Lynch in Kane who later moved them
to the Olympic Peninsula, Washington state.
