BLEAK NEWS: It’s tough running a daily newspaper in a town where
the headlines paint a picture of a community fighting to
survive.

Wednesday’s edition pointed to the dire straits faced by our city
fathers, our libraries’ effort to stay open more than a minimum
number of hours, and the possible elimination of government grants
which have been a lifesaver in our little town.
