LOCAL TENT: Jim Schonblom, in a story in The Era’s 1977
centennial edition, explained that the Bradford chapter of the
Saints and Sinners began in 1932 and was called “the Lillian
Leitzel Tent” in honor of one of the Ringling Brothers’ greatest
trapeze artists.
