‘LET’S FIGHT:’ Before you finish your Christmas shopping, you
might want to read this letter we received from Betty D. Allen of
Emporium:

“I would love to see you focus some attention on the small
specialty stores in this struggling economy in small towns, my town
being less than 6,000. The (Proctor & Gamble) buyout has really
hurt some of us. I dropped the line and will not support the big
companies that will put small specialty stores out of business. I
will stay and fight until the very end.”
