SNOW BIRDS: Geese were flying every which way during the snow
storm on Monday and Tuesday.  A large flock was spotted going
between Foster Brook and Route 219 — circling as if they were lost.
It makes perfect sense to us that a flock from Canada was heading
for warmer climes and got “turned around” when they hit the band of
lake effect snows. We know we’ve been “turned around” a few times
during the storm.
