ENOUGH!: Judy Blaser of Port Allegany writes, “For the past two
weeks now, going on three, we have been subjected to intolerable
noise from the helicopters and ground crews testing for
thickness of the Marcellus shale formation. The question in my mind
is why do they have the right to traverse a person’s property when
shale is not a mineral and they’re not actually testing for gas —
just testing for thickness of the shale? Aren’t we entitled to the
quiet enjoyment of our home and land? In my mind, Pennsylvania
Energy has taken liberties and abused our rights.”
