THE GAME — A charity football game between graduated high school
seniors from 15 teams in Northcentral Pennsylvania and 14 teams in
Southwestern New York that form the Big 30 area. Several teams are
made up of players from more than one school who are participating
in co‑op programs.
THE SCHOOLS — New York: Allegany‑Limestone, Bolivar‑Richburg,
Cattaraugus‑Little Valley, Cuba‑Rushford, Ellicottville,
Franklinville, Gowanda, Olean High, Pioneer, Portville, Randolph,
Salamanca, Wellsville and West Valley; Pennsylvania: Bradford,
Cameron County, Coudersport, Eisenhower, Elk Catholic, Johnsonburg,
Kane, Otto‑Eldred, Port Allegany, Ridgway, Sheffield, Smethport,
St. Marys, Warren and Youngsville.
GAME SITE — Parkway Field in Bradford. The field is located behind
Bradford High School and off Interstate Parkway.
DATE — Officially established as the first Saturday in August. In
the event of inclement weather, the game will be played the
following day, on Sunday at 2 p.m.
STARTING TIME — The opening kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Pre‑game introductions of players and any other announcements or
presentations will get under way at approximately 6:30 p.m.
OFFICIAL TIME — Teams will play four 15‑minute quarters. A
scoreboard clock is located at the east end of the field.
SERIES RECORD — The New York All‑Stars hold the advantage in wins
for the 36 games played to date with a record of 18‑16‑2.
PROFITS — The Raabe Charities Classic has turned over $1.3 million
to charitable organizations and individuals selected by the
all‑star game committee.
TICKETS — Tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $2 for
children 12 years of age and younger. Tickets will be available at
the gate the night of the game.
RADIO COVERAGE — Bradford’s WESB Radio (1490 AM) and WBRR‑FM
(100.1) will be airing the live play‑by‑play action of the game.
Heading the broadcasting team will be Frank Williams, station
program director. Pre‑game coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m.
