Adam Zuckerman, a Bradford Area High School freshman, has
received an invitation to compete in the Eastern EQS “B” Freestyle
Championship ski competition.

Zuckerman is currently tied for first place in the Eastern
United States for moguls. The competition is invite-only, meaning
athletes are hand-picked depending on the their performance scores
throughout the season. Zuckerman will compete against the best
freestyle skiers in the Eastern U.S., with participants coming from
Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Jersey and
Pennsylvania.

The area athlete has been competing with the Holiday Valley
Freestyle Team in the Eastern Freestyle EQS “B” series for the last
five years.

Notably, Zuckerman has won first place overall at moguls
competitions held at Seven Springs, Holiday Valley and Holimont ski
resorts.

The championship will be held this weekend at the Holiday Valley
Ski Resort in Ellicottville, N.Y.
