LOCAL ANGLE: Viewers of CNN in the pre-election coverage in New
Hampshire may have caught a local angle in recent days.

Terry Montecalvo Dynborski hosted a community meeting at her
house in Londonderry, N.H., for candidate John McCain, who is
seeing the Republican nomination for president. If the name seems
familiar – the Montecalvo part, in particular – you’re right on the
money. Terry is “a Lewis Run girl,” according to relative Al
Montecalvo. Al tells us that Terry’s brother, Vince Montecalvo, is
a Bradford resident.

TEA TIME: The folks on the One Book Bradford committee are busy
preparing for their Victorian Tea on Sunday, part of the events
they are sponsoring in conjunction with the reading of Lauren
Belfer’s novel “City of Light.”

While researching the event, tea organizer Rebecca Ryan came
across some tidbits of information about tea time and dropped off
the following quiz to see how informed you are about an “afternoon
tea.” Answers will be in tomorrow’s edition but, before that, we
wanted to tell readers that tickets for the Sunday tea are
available at the Bradford Area Public Library. The tea will be held
from 3-5 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church .
